Finally, the fight we’ve all been waiting for. It’s been theatrically dragged out from UFC to 200 to UFC 202. Plenty of shots have been fired in the process. Each fighter is claiming to be the best. Head will be ripped of and blood will be shed.
The initial bout boosted the reputation of Nate Diaz who has been fighting in UFC for 10 years. This was rightly the fight that Nate deserved. The experience of Diaz verses the brutality of McGregor made for a bloody fight. The difference in weight class came into play as the fight went on. Diaz was able to push McGregor to the limit and make him tap out. Before they got into the ring, they proved to be a good match when it came to trash talking pre-fight. They couldn’t have set it up any better for the rematch.
Now we are here. Possibly the biggest fight in UFC history in terms of audience and exposure. McGregor is the most retweeted athlete on the planet. Ask anyone and they’ll tell you that they’re split. Who will win?
