Wednesday night sees Premier League leaders Manchester City travel north of the border to take on a Celtic side managed by Brendan Rodgers.
Pep Guardiola’s side have yet to taste anything other than victory in the Premier League so far this season and their fortune continued in their first group game against Borussia Monchengladbach, which they won 4-0.
Celtic suffered a humiliating 7-0 thrashing at the hands of Barcelona in their opening group game and they’ll be hoping that they put in a better display in this match.
Team News
Kevin De Bruyne limped off against Swansea at the weekend and is likely to be replaced by Nolito. The Spanish forward is currently serving a three-game domestic ban, but could start against Celtic. Vincent Kompany remains sidelined , whilst Fabian Delph didn’t participate in training on Tuesday and also looks likely to miss out.
Four Celtic players have played for Manchester City, with Kolo Toure, Scott Sinclair and current City-loanee Patrick Roberts all expected to feature, although Dedryck Boyata will miss out. Dorus De Vries suffered a chest injury at the weekend and Craig Gordon will replace him in goal.
