FA Cup Fourth Round Preview
The FA Cup returns this weekend. We’ve picked out five games that don’t feature any of the big teams, but could see an upset and are interesting nonetheless.
Derby vs. Leicester City
Kick Off-19:55, Friday
Leicester’s away form has been wretched in the Premier League so far this season and a trip to Derby, who are seventh in the Championship isn’t ideal. There are rumours of dressing room discord at Leicester and this could well be a potential upset.
Match Prediction and Odds
Burnley vs. Bristol City
Kick Off-15:00, Saturday
Burnley are very strong at home and you’d back them to beat a team who are struggling in the Championship. Bristol City have lost their last eight league games in a row.
Match Prediction and Odds
Lincoln City vs. Brighton and Hove Albion
Kick Off-15:00, Saturday
Lincoln are the lowest ranked team left in this season’s FA Cup and they’re hosting Championship highflyers Brighton. The Imps caused an upset in the third round by defeating Ipswich in a replay, but Brighton are a much better outfit and they should win comfortably.
Match Prediction and Odds
Millwall vs. Watford
Kick Off-12:00, Sunday
Millwall toppled Bournemouth at home in the third round and they’ve got a very good chance of conquering another Premier League opponent. Watford have just one win in ten and have lost four of their last seven. There could be another upset here.
Match Prediction and Odds
- Millwall to qualify for the fifth round (NetBet odds 7/5)
- Millwall to win and both teams to score (NetBet odds 23/4)
Fulham vs. Hull City
Kick Off-12:30, Sunday
Fulham are scoring goals for fun in the Championship this season and they have a good home record. Hull have improved since Marco Silva took charge, but they’re in a relegation battle and they don’t need a cup run.
