Huddersfield travel to Manchester City on Wednesday, following on from their goalless draw in the first meeting between the two sides at the John Smith’s Stadium.
The Championship side were on a six-match winning run in the league, but that ended with a 1-1 draw at Barnsley at the weekend. However, they do still remain in the race for promotion.
Meanwhile, Manchester City have played just once since they faced Huddersfield, beating Monaco 5-3 in a pulsating Champions League tie at the Etihad.
The winner of Wednesday’s FA Cup replay will play Middlesbrough in the quarter finals at the Riverside.
Team News
Vincent Kompany is nearing a return to action, but it is unlikely that he will be risked by Pep Guardiola. Aside from Ilkay Gundogan (knee) and Gabriel Jesus (foot), Guardiola has no other injury concerns. However, he is still yet to decide whether he will play Willy Caballero or Claudio Bravo in goal.
Huddersfield will be without Christopher Schindler and Kasey Palmer who miss out with minor injuries, while Nahki Wells is also out with an ankle problem.
