The Emirates has become the focal point of the Wenger Out campaign in recent times, but such is the popularity of the Premier League, the campaign has now gone global as the WWE has found out twice in the last week.
Over 4,300 miles separate North London from Orlando where Wrestlemania was held on Sunday night. The WWE has long been a place where banners and signs can be held up, but one was particularly telling.
It read “Wenger Out”. How creative…

The Gunners boss is facing some of the heaviest criticism of his career so far and faces calls to not sign a contract extension this summer. Whether he does or not is still in the open, but for now, the Wenger Out campaign is slowly growing around the world.
The seemingly global campaign underlines how much pressure the manager is under and it highlights the impact of social media on modern football.
It is thanks to social media and geo-tagging that can be put on tweets and Instagram posts that we’re able to see where else it’s spread to.
So prepare for a round the world tour, encompassing a number of sporting events to see how far Wenger Out has spread.
