Jurgen Klopp has done a significant amount of business already this summer in the transfer window, with Naby Keita, Fabinho, Xherdan Shaqiri and Alisson joining for almost £200 million.
That might suggest that their business is already done for this window, with just outgoings to be confirmed. However, Klopp could move for more players if they suddenly become available.
Here are four of those players that Liverpool could make a move for before the end of the window.
Christian Pulisic
Liverpool have long been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund’s American sensation, with Klopp even praising the player over the last week. If Pulisic ever does move to the Premier League, then Liverpool would be a likely fit. Although, the Reds have already signed Xherdan Shaqiri this summer, which might put any move for a winger in jeopardy. However, if his track record is anything to suggest, the former Stoke man might not last too long at Anfield.
Odds on joining Liverpool this summer: 14/1
Nabil Fekir
Fekir was close to joining Liverpool before travelling with the France squad to Russia this summer, but failed a medical. However, he’s still strongly linked with a move to Anfield, despite Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas stating otherwise. Liverpool had agreed a fee of £60 million for the Frenchman, but they might have to up their bid if they’re to land their man this summer.
Odds on joining Liverpool this summer: 2/1
Hirving Lozano
Lozano was one of the breakout stars for Mexico in Russia this summer and his best moment came in their group stage victory over Germany. He only moved to PSV Eindhoven last year, but his performances have been well watched by scouts from some of Europe’s leading clubs. Liverpool would certainly be in for him if he became available, but they’d have to fight off several others to secure his signature.
Odds on joining Liverpool this summer: 20/1
Paulo Dybala
Dybala’s future has been hotly speculated for some time, as Juventus have flattered to deceive in recent years. However, with the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at the Old Lady, fans will be looking forward to seeing how the young Argentine will combine with the Portuguese legend. Juventus will be looking to win the Champions League this season, while despite making the final last year, Liverpool will have a different aim. He seems unlikely to be joining the Reds.
