England and Tottenham striker Harry Kane was the highest Fantasy Football points scorer in his position last year, scoring 217 points, despite not finding the back of the net in August and sitting out four weeks through injury. His 217-point haul wasn’t his personal best though, as it was down seven points from the year before. The Spurs striker scored 29 goals last season, as well as providing two assists for his teammates. This was enough to see him finish top of the leaderboard over Leicester’s Jamie Vardy by an impressive 34 points.

Jamie Vardy
Leicester’s Jamie Vardy was second among the forwards last year and represents a well-priced pick, considering he’s a cheap, but reliable option to lead a front line in any fantasy team. Vardy scored 20 goals for the Foxes last year, his second-highest Premier League tally and he scored 22 points more than he did in the previous season.
This season’s price: £9 million
Roberto Firmino
Roberto Firmino finished third out of all forwards in Fantasy Football last season, scoring a total of 181 points, one more than the previous season and two fewer than Vardy. The Liverpool striker was crucial for the Reds last season, finding the back of the net 15 times, but also providing for his teammates (mostly Salah), with eight assists over the campaign. He’s often underrated in a list of all Premier League forwards, but he’s a great pick to have and improves year-on-year. Last season was his best so far and as the Reds look for that elusive league title, he’ll be a key component in their hunt.
