Fantasy Football returns for another season and you can join NetBet’s fantasy league right here!
However, before you join, what players should you pick? Let’s have a look at the best players in their positions from last season to help you select the perfect team.
Mohamed Salah
It comes as no surprise that Mohamed Salah was the highest scoring player in all of Fantasy Football last year as he took the Premier League by storm to become the Golden Boot winner. The Egyptian scored an incredible 32 goals for Liverpool last season, alongside his 12 assists and he’s a must-have for any Fantasy Football player this time around. He didn’t have the best time in Russia and looked unfit after suffering a dislocated shoulder in the Champions League final, but he should have recovered by the start of the new season.

Raheem Sterling
Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling was second among midfielders last season, but he was some way off Salah with 229 points, 74 points behind the Liverpool star. However, Sterling did still have the most productive Premier League season of his career, scoring 18 goals and providing 17 assists as City swept aside their rivals on the march to their title triumph. Sterling picked up three yellows and one red card over the season, but it was his exploits in attack that saw him finish second. Another similar season is likely and he’s another top player to pick in a fantasy side.
This season’s price: £11 million
Kevin de Bruyne
The first half of last season saw Kevin de Bruyne at his best, while he tailed off slightly in the second half, although much of that was because of his high standards. He scored just eight Premier League goals last season, but chipped in with 18 assists, the one to Leroy Sane against Stoke being particularly memorable. The Belgian might miss the first few games of the season after returning late from international duty, but he’s a shoe-in to any fantasy team.
