In Germany, it’s a Bundesliga title race six-pointer on Saturday when leaders Bayern Munich travel to play second place Lepizig. There’s just five points between the sides, and Leipzig will fancy their chances to overturn a two-point deficit should they pick up a victory over this weekend. In another cracker, Eintracht Frankfurt will travel to Dortmund for a game with huge Champions League implications, and Monchengladbach host Freiburg in another match that could see one side leapfrog the other.

Bayern Munich to beat RB Leipzig and both teams to score – 9/4
If Leipzip win, the title race is well and truly on for them. If Bayern win, it’s probably game over for another year. These are the implications of this game, so expect fireworks on Saturday evening when the two top German sides face off. Leipzig will be delighted to hear that Robert Lewandowski is out after suffering a knee injury during international duty for Poland, but they shouldn’t be any less wary of Munich’s attacking threat just for that reason. Thomas Müller is still one of the most fearsome strikers in Europe, and Bayern are also well able to get goals from the midfield. We’re foreseeing goals and excitement, but ultimately a Bayern Munich win.
Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt draw – 59/20
It’s been a frustrating year for BVB. With their famous ‘Yellow Wall’ of supporters banished due to coronavirus, they’ve struggled to make a serious impact on the title picture in the Bundesliga and now face the prospect of missing out on a Champions League spot. Edin Terzić’s men will need a win when Eintracht Frankfurt come to town, but we just can’t see it. For the first time in almost a decade, Adi Hütter’s men could land Champions League qualification, and taking that from them won’t come easy. It’s going to be a cagey affair, and we just can’t pick a winner between these sides, who have already drawn once this season.
Freiburg to beat Monchengladbach – 3/1
Neither of these sides are completely out of the running for a Europa League spot, so we’re expecting a tight affair when Freiburg hit the road. The hosts are just one point behind their visitors, and we expect this to be, similarly to the above match, a cagey encounter. The price is the same for a draw if you fancy that, and there’s very little to separate the teams based on what we have seen so far.
