Our expert tipster has taken a look at a number of football betting tips and has put together his top selections from around the top European Leagues ahead of a busy weekend of games.
European Football Preview
Two German Cup semi-finals head up a busy few days of football across Europe as things hot up across the continent this weekend. Werder Bremen v RB Leipzig is the pick off the semi-finals of Friday evening before Dortmund play second-tier Holstein Kiel on Saturday night.
Then in France, the razor-tight race between Lille, PSG and Monaco continues to be anyone’s game as Monaco host fourth place Lyon, table-toppers Lille face 9th place Nice and PSG face Lens.
In La Liga, just three points separates fourth place Sevilla from Atletico Madrid at the top of the table. Both of those teams are in action, against Athletic Bilbao and Elche respectively. Second & third place Real Madrid and Barcelona also face awkward challenges in Osasuna and Valencia. Barca play twice in just four days, facing Granada on Thursday as well.
Over in Italy, Inter Milan could seal the league title with four games still to play if they beat bottom-side Crotone, who are currently working through a four-game losing streak. The race for second and indeed a top four spot sees four teams split by just two points. Atalanta are currently in second with just two more points than Napoli, Juventus and AC Milan. Atalanta face Sassuolo, while the other three play Cagliari, Udinese and Sampdoria respectively.

Werder Bremen v RB Leipzig Betting Odds
This match is going to be a whole lot closer than the odds are suggesting. Werder Bremen have, yes, been beaten 4-1 by Leipzig just a couple of weeks ago. But they played each other in December and despite a 2-0 scoreline in favour of this weekend’s favourites, it was quite the competitive game. Werder Bremen are flattering to deceive for a lot of this season, but they have been able to sneak some scalps and there is a chance that they can do so again this time out. Red Bull Leipzig are 4/13 favourites, while Werder Bremen are 8/1 to win within the 90 minutes. If you believe this game will be a draw in normal time, which is a good bet, you can get the draw at 17/4.
Lille v Nice Betting Odds
There is no room for Lille to mess up as they cling on to their lead in the Ligue 1 title race. Both sides will be well aware of this fact, so expect a cagey affair this Saturday evening. PSG and Monaco are 10/31 and 5/4 favourites to beat Lens and Lyon respectively. Lille are favourites to take all three points here, with a price of 5/12 to the visitors’ 27/4. A draw, which actually looks a good bet this time around, is marketed at 18/5.
Inter Milan v Crotone Betting Odds
High-flying Inter Milan are expected to handily seal the league title when they play the team who are the polar opposite this season in Crotone. The minnows are whopping 19/2 underdogs, while Inter are unbackable 1/4 favourites. A draw is priced at 11/2.
Valencia v Barcelona Betting Odds
An historically tight game, we are expecting Barcelona not to slip this weekend against Valencia. The fixture schedule is a bit hectic for Barca, but they should have just about too much for the 6/1 hosts. Ronald Koeman’s troops are 5/12 favourites while a draw is 17/4.
