European Football Preview: La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 Betting Tips, Predictions, Odds and Match Preview

Our expert tipster has taken a look at a number of football betting tips from around the continent this weekend and has put together his top selections from all of Europe’s top games.

European Football Preview

Massive title race six pointers are happening across Europe this weekend, with some huge clashes taking place in France, Germany and Spain particularly.

We start with La Liga, where the top 4 are in action against each other. There are just six points separating Sevilla in fourth and Atletico Madrid at the top. Real Madrid in second and third-place Barcelona are two points behind Atleti, so these are vital matches. The table toppers travel to Camp Nou on Saturday before Real host Sevilla on Sunday evening.

In Ligue 1, fifth take on first when Lens host table toppers Lille on Friday night. There’s just a point between them and beaten Champions League semi-finalists PSG in second. The current champions are 20/29 favourites in their match with Stade Rennes, with both sides knowing that anything less than a perfect run-in won’t do.

Then in Germany, Borussia Dortmund face second place Red Bull Leipzig in a game that is invaluable in their top 4 efforts. The Yellow Wall are just one point behind Eintracht Frankfurt, who will be expected (4/5 is the moneyline at time of writing) to beat Mainz. Bayern will probably seal the league title with a win over Monchengladbach, which takes place on Saturday evening.

Inter Milan have already won the Serie A title, but the rest of the top four in Italy are level on 69 points heading into this weekend. That will change when Juventus play AC Milan on Sunday. Atalanta will likely beat Parma to take the lead in the race for second, and Inter play Sampdoria.

Odds are correct at the time of publication and are subject to change.

Atletico Madrid v Barcelona Betting Odds

This is an absolutely crucial game in the Spanish title race. Barca are two points behind Atleti, so this is a six-pointer in every sense of the word. Hosts Barcelona are 4/5 favourites, a draw is 27/10, while Atletico maintaining their grip on the number one spot is priced at 7/2. We’d fancy the table toppers at that price, and a draw no bet is also very interesting at 23/10.

Lens v Lille Betting Odds

Lille are just inches away from the Ligue 1 title, but they need this win on Friday. They’re favourites to win, but it’s a near-evens line at 20/21. Lens are in fifth place and harboring ambitions of a fourth place finish, and them winning is priced at 3/1. They’re just a point behind Lyon, so if Lorient pull off a shock and do them a favour a draw would be a good enough result at 5/2.

Juventus v AC Milan Betting Odds

These two teams are literally inseparable on 69 points, and they’ll both want that runners-up spot. Cristiano Ronaldo and the boys are minor favourites at 20/27, while AC Milan are underdogs at 15/4. A draw, which would add to the excitement at the end of the season, is priced 14/5.

Dortmund v RB Leipzig Betting Odds

Borussia Dortmund need a win to have any chance of finishing in the German top 4 this year. Leipzig are ahead in the league, but have much less to play for so they’re 47/20 underdogs. A draw is 14/5, and a Dortmund win is the favourite with the bookies at 21/20.
