Our expert tipster has cast their eye over the opening weekend of Premier League fixtures and has picked a treble that could set you up with a nice profit to finish out your summer!
It’s going to be a fascinating week of fixtures in England’s top league, with a number of new signings looking to impress in their new roles and some teams looking to build on last season, so here at NetBet we will give you our best tips!
The league begins on Friday night with newly-promoted Brentford hosting Premier League giants Arsenal in the first game of the year. Then on Saturday we get the return of Manchester United, who finished second last year, against old rivals Leeds United at Old Trafford. Watford will also play Aston Villa, while Wolves visit Leicester, Everton host Southampton, Chelsea look to build on their Super Cup win against Crystal Palace, Burnley host Brighton and 2020 champions Liverpool travel to Norwich.
Then the champions are back on Sunday in the second game of the day when Man City play Spurs in the undoubted stand-out of the week’s fixtures after West Ham travel to St James’ Park to play Newcastle.
There are a whole host of excellent prices on the NetBet football odds page and we’ve picked out the best bets for you! Our football acca tips can’t be beaten!
Man City to beat Spurs to zero – 9/5
Manchester City are the Premier League champions, and they’re going to have to show those credentials against top tier opposition from the get-go. Spurs were one of the only teams who were able to beat City last year, and with the visitors missing the likes of Phil Foden and Kevin De Bruyne, there is a real chance that this could be a tight game. However, Spurs could be without Harry Kane, and that will hurt them for goalscorers, and we reckon this price is one of the best you’ll get this weekend. A 1-0 Manchester City win would earn the win for you here.
Arsenal to beat Brentford – 5/6
It’s not going to be making you rich on its own, but we really like the price on this one. After 74 years out of the top flight, Brentford really have a baptism of fire when they host Arsenal, who are still one of the top teams in the country despite a very poor showing last season. This result is probably going to go Arsenal’s way, and with the other two results we’ve picked, it could really be a strong boost for your weekend acca.
Burnley to draw at home to Brighton – 2/1
Brighton are probably the better team on paper in this game, but one thing we know about them is their ability to snatch draws and losses from the jaws of victory. This is going to be a very interesting fixture, and we like the draw at 2/1.
