The history between these sides doesn’t make for good reading for the Northern Irish. In fact, it makes for quite dreadful reading. In six meetings since 2005, England have won by a combined scoreline of 25-0.
Given England ran so rampant in the victory over 11th ranked Norway, 47th ranked Northern Ireland will just be looking to compete. Whilst it’s true anything can happen in football, prepare for a one-sided affair at St. Mary’s. Beth Mead and Ellen White will both have their eye on the Golden Boot, so you can rest assured that the Lionesses won’t be taking their foot off the gas.
