Premier League Matchday 14: Preview, Odds & Betting Tips

This incredibly entertaining Premier League campaign keeps on giving, with another cracking set of fixtures scheduled this weekend! We’ve previewed matchday 14 and picked out a treble from the 3pm kick-offs that could land you some extra cash.

A £10 bet on our 11/1 treble could put you up over 100 quid! Head to NetBet Sport to browse the upcoming sports betting markets or place an accumulator of your own.

Bournemouth vs Tottenham

Spurs have faltered in recent outings against in-form Man United and Newcastle sides, but they have been beating those you would expect them to with relative ease. This bet has already landed in four of their league matches this season, and it has the added boost of Bournemouth failing to find the net in back-to-back games ahead of this fixture.

In fact, the Cherries have failed to score in seven of their 12 games this campaign, with only two teams having netted fewer goals. They may have benefitted from a wave of momentum following the departure of Scott Parker, but they have come crashing back to earth in lacklustre defeats against Southampton and West Ham. They are still very much relegation candidates.

Tottenham win to nil – 2.65

Newcastle vs Aston Villa

Newcastle can’t be stopped at the moment. They have won four of their last five and haven’t lost a game since August. Not only are they defensively sound, they also have serious firepower in the final third, with Bruno Guimaraes offering a previously missed creativity and Miguel Almiron in the form of his career.

Aston Villa might have bounced back from the sacking of Steven Gerrard with a 4-0-win last time out, but they have not won an away league game this season. St. James’ Park has been as difficult a place as any to go in 2022, and we’re not looking beyond the Magpies to claim another three points. Eddie Howe has a very well-rounded team firing on all cylinders – they’ll be starting to believe they can secure a spot in Europe.

Newcastle win – 1.80

Brighton vs Chelsea

These are massive odds for a winning Chelsea team to pick up three points against a struggling Brighton. The Seagulls are yet to win a match under new manager Roberto De Zerbi, and they have lost three of their last four. They have managed to score just once in their last 360 minutes of football, with the 5-2 win in Graham Potter’s last game in charge a distant memory.

Potter returns to the Amex with a Chelsea team that is very comfortable defensively. The late equaliser scored by United at Stamford Bridge was a first goal conceded in six games. We expect them to be victorious on matchday 14, with another clean sheet potentially on the cards.

Chelsea win – 2.51
