So far, two teams, the Patriots and the Panthers, are out of the running for the playoffs.
However, the remaining 30 teams are still in contention, with only the 49ers having secured a spot in the playoffs as of now.

Denver Broncos (+5) vs. Detroit Lions
Two months back, the Denver Broncos’ season seemed lost following a dismal 1-5 start which included a 70-20 beatdown at the hands of the Dolphins.
However, Denver has somehow managed to turn things around, winning six of their last seven games, making them one of the six AFC teams holding a 7-6 record.
Despite the potential for fatigue as they enter their third consecutive road game, Denver still appears a strong choice to back in terms of points.
As for the Detroit Lions, many people’s dark horse for the year, are on track for their best season in almost a decade.
However, they’ve found it challenging post-bye week, with a 3-2 record in their last five games and consistently allowing 26 points in these matchups.
Denver’s recent success in covering the spread in five out of seven games, and Detroit’s recent difficulties in covering and securing outright wins make this a fascinating clash.
So in one of three NFL games that takes place this upcoming Saturday afternoon the Broncos look the best bet.
Pick: Broncos +5.5
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3.5) vs. Green Bay Packers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ season seemed to be spiralling after they lost six out of seven games following a promising 3-1 start in 2023.
However, with consecutive division victories against the Panthers and Saints, the Bucs now lead the NFC South, holding tiebreakers over both New Orleans and Atlanta.
While their record against the spread (ATS) this season is only 6-4, they have notably covered the spread in five out of six road games.
The betting line for their next game is worth considering sooner rather than later, as it may shift after the Packers’ performance on Monday night.
Although betting on a Florida team playing at Lambeau Field in December carries some risk, the opportunity to get 3.5 points is too attractive to overlook.
Pick: Buccaneers +3.5
Los Angeles Rams (-6.5) vs. Washington Commanders
In a rain-drenched Week 14 game in Baltimore, the Rams were close to an upset, but returning to their home field with ideal playing conditions they could be one of the best NFL bets this week.
Los Angeles has successfully covered the spread for three consecutive weeks, in contrast to the Commanders, who have not managed to cover in their last three games.
Despite Washington’s stronger record against the spread on the road this season (5-2), their defence has significantly weakened following the trade of key players Chase Young and Montez Sweat.
The Commanders’ defence has been struggling, allowing a minimum of 29 points in four consecutive games and in five of their last six.
Although Washington might benefit from rest after a Week 14 bye, their defensive rankings are concerning, as they are last in yards allowed per game (379.8), yards per play (6.9), and passing yards per game (266).
This matchup has one of the highest totals for Week 15, and justifiably so, as it’s widely expected that the Rams will surpass 30 points for the third time in four weeks and secure a win by at least a touchdown.
Pick: LA Rams -6.5
