NetBet fans, we’ve just pulled off a game-changing signing. We’re thrilled to announce Ray Parlour as our exciting new addition to the squad! The marauding midfielder has finally put pen to paper. We think his wealth of experience is going to push NetBet to the next level; this might just turn into an unbeaten season for us.
Ray knows a thing or two about Premier League football. He is an Invincible, after all. With 379 Premier League appearances and three winners medals, there are few people better positioned to talk Premier League predictions. We sat down with the Arsenal legend to talk about this year’s title race and the top four challengers.

Parlour’s Predictions – The Arsenal
Ray’s old side Arsenal have had a yo-yo start to the year. From beating Manchester City at home to losing at Fulham, there seems to be a consistency issue for the Gunners. As we head into the second half of the season, Ray thinks there are a couple of ways Arsenal could boost their title challenge. He has his finger on the pulse of all the goings on at the Emirates, and here’s what he told us about Arsenal’s title challenge.
“Arsenal’s break in Dubai this month has come at the right time for them to freshen up, take a break, and for the likes of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli to have a well-deserved rest and then get ready to perform like they were last season. With Arsenal back in the Champions League after several years of absence, this may have been part of their recent drop in form.”
It is Mikel Arteta’s first season managing a Champions League squad, and there has been a noticeable drop off since they started their European campaign. Players like Martin Ødegaard, Gabriel Jesus, Saka, and Martinelli, don’t seem to have hit the consistency they had last year. Could this be a case of fatigue? Ray expects them to kick on regardless.
“I expect Arsenal to beat Crystal Palace and kick on in the title race and have a great second half of the season. Top four is the minimum requirement for Arsenal, which they can make, and they can also push City all the way.
Ultimately, they may just come up short again, but it won’t be for the lack of giving it their best shot, and with Declan Rice in the side, he can be key to push the side on towards the end of the season. Hopefully, Jurrien Timber and Thomas Partey can return to the side and this will be massive for Arsenal.”
Parlour’s Predictions – Race for Top 4
While Arsenal are well in the hunt, this year’s title race is wide open. Will City go on one of their famous runs? Could Liverpool win their second Premier League title? Can Aston Villa cause the biggest shock since Leicester’s title-winning campaign? And for Manchester United and Chelsea, the less said, the better. We asked Ray who he thinks is in the hunt for the title and a top four spot.
“This could well be the tightest title race for a long time as Man City have their work cut out with Arsenal, Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Spurs all believing they can stay in the title race for as long as possible. Looking at the champions come May, I just can’t see past Man City again. With Kevin De Bruyne coming back fit and Rodri bossing the midfield for them, they are likely to have too much quality and will lift the Premier League again.
Regarding the top four, I see Arsenal, Liverpool, and Spurs taking the remaining places this year. Arsenal and Liverpool are both likely to push Man City the furthest and the games between them will be key. Spurs have played well so far this season and after bad injuries, are just finding a bit of form and should pip Aston Villa to the fourth spot.”
