Fulham vs Manchester City Preview

Three games remain in Manchester City’s season, and all of them must win if they want to secure their 10th Premier league and their fourth in as many years. Arsenal are hot on their tails as they enter a double gameweek as they will take on Spurs on Tuesday. There seems to be no stopping Pep Guardiola’s well-oiled machine, the return of star striker Erling Haaland and playmaker Kevin De Bruyne have been the catalyst for a devastating run of form this season.

Fulham however, have secured Premier League survival and have played impressive football under talented manager Marco Silva. However their talented team will be disappointed not to push for progression this season and will want to make a statement and have an impact on the title race. Their lacklustre form of late may be deceptive, can they prove that their season is not over yet and their minds aren’t already on the beach.

City lay claim to the victory the last 15 times the two teams have faced off, so Fulham may not be feeling too optimistic going into the weekend. Especially after their 5-1 loss to the reigning champions, earlier this season.

Fulham vs Manchester City Odds

City remain huge favourites for the win at 1.20. With Fulham at 12.00 should they pull off what would be one of the shocks of the season. A draw sits on 6.70.

Record Breaker

Erling Haaland will have his eyes on a second consecutive Golden Boot in as many years, with Cole Palmer hot on his heels he’ll be looking to secure the award this week with goals firmly in the forecast for the big Norwegian. Haaland is 1.51 to score, and 3.25 to be the first man on the scoresheet.

Unstoppable

Pep Guardiola’s men have been free scoring this season, with few teams able to keep them out. Their attacking threat is enormous, with Haaland being the main, but far from the only source of goals. England starboy Phil Foden is having a season to remember with Bernardo silva and World Cup winner Julian Alvarez a constant threat as well. City are 2.30 to score 3+ Goals.

A Positive Note

Writing Fulham off completely in this tie may seem elementary at this point. But they have proven themselves to be a Premier League staple and a worthy opponent for any top team. Top scorer Rodrigo Muniz has terrorised defences and scored some spectacular goals and cannot be counted out. Fulham are at 1.64 and it’s 3.94 for Muniz to be the man to do it.
