Chelsea to beat Bournemouth @ 1.47
With Chelsea depending on a result to ensure European football next week. Premier League Young Player of the Year Cole Palmer and co will host Bournemouth on Sunday, needing a win to stay ahead of Manchester United. And with three straight wins, you’d fancy them to end on a high note. Especially as the Cherries have guaranteed safety, manager Iraola has renewed his contract and they look to be on the beach going into the last game. But Bournemouth have earned their rewards this season, proving a tough matchup for anyone. So this will by no means be a walkover for Mauricio Pocchetino’s men.
Manchester United to beat Brighton @ 3.11
United are not favourites going into their final-day tie against Brighton, but with more on the line, we think they’ll have the desire over the Seagulls as they strive for European football. Ten Hag’s Red Devils have struggled of late, with a string of poor results and worse performances leaving them on the peripheries of the Conference League chase. But last time out, against league leaders Arsenal, they created a lot and it was composure that let them down. Motivated by the chance of overtaking Chelsea, we think they’ll find their spark this weekend. It will be no easy feat against De Zerbi’s Brighton who have had a strong season, including a successful European campaign.
Nottingham Forest to beat Burnley @ 2.41
A determined Forest side travel to relegated Burnley this weekend for one of the key games in the relegation battle. Plagued by points deductions and financial difficulties, Forest have had a tough season both on and off the pitch. They likely wouldn’t be quite as panicked without the deduction of four points due to FFP breaches, however, they’ve all but sealed their place in the Premier League next season. Burnley will be looking to end their season on a high note when they take on the Garibaldi, before heading to the Championship.
Manchester City to beat West Ham @ 1.09
With neither title chaser giving an inch in recent weeks, City and Arsenal will go down to the wire on the final day to decide who will win the Premier League. Both teams have to win and can’t afford even a minor slip up. The Cityzens have been in imperious form this year in the league and there are no indications why that wouldn’t extend to this weekend. WIth the league’s top scorer Erling Haaland (26 Goals)
spearheading their attack and an impressive defensive record, I don’t think we’re alone in fancying Pep Guardiola’s men for the win and for their fourth title in a row.
