England will look to book their spot in the Euro 2024 knockout stage when they take on Denmark this Thursday.
Gareth Southgate’s side flattered to deceive against Serbia but still got the job done to achieve a 1-0 victory, while the Danes were held to a 1-1 draw by Slovenia in their opener.

Preview
England and Denmark meet for the second European Championship in succession after contesting a semi-final at Euro 2020. The Three Lions eventually emerged victorious that day at Wembley courtesy of an extra-time strike from captain Harry Kane.
The Danes are perhaps not as strong of a force as they were three years ago, although England cannot afford to take them lightly.
With Christian Eriksen looking to dictate the play and Rasmus Hojlund eager to run in behind the defence, Southgate’s side will have to be on their game if they want to claim a second consecutive win at the tournament.
However, Denmark’s defensive frailties against Slovenia will have England’s star-studded attack licking their lips, Jude Bellingham and Bukayo Saka in particular.
Odds
England are the heavy favourites to win, priced at 1.65. Denmark to produce something of a shock is at 5.70.
Betting Tips
A tight affair
England were lucky not to concede against Serbia, with Jordan Pickford producing several smart stops on his way to a welcome clean sheet. The Three Lions’ defence is in makeshift territory at the moment due to Luke Shaw’s lack of fitness, so Pickford may be beaten this time around. Both teams to score on the night is at 2.05.
Captain Kane
Kane was fairly anonymous against Serbia due to a lack of service but he rarely goes two matches in a row for England without contributing. He also hit the crossbar with his only real opportunity last Sunday and we are backing the Bayern Munich striker to open his account in Frankfurt. Kane to score anytime is 2.38.
Hey Jude
But if Kane does not tickle your fancy, Bellingham to continue his scoring run just might. The Real Madrid star scored the only goal in England’s 1-0 victory over Serbia and is 3.75 to ripple the back of the net against Denmark.
