The first round of fixtures in Euro 2024 Group F served up two absolute treats.
Turkey’s 3-1 victory over Georgia was a thriller, while Portugal required a stoppage-time winner to beat the Czech Republic 2-1.
All four sides resume their campaigns on Saturday, with Belgium also taking on Romania. The Red Devils will be itching to bounce back from their shock 1-0 loss to Slovakia but it will not be easy against a Romanian side which claimed a 3-0 win over Ukraine in their opener.

Portugal to beat Turkey and both teams to score @ 3.13
Portugal and Turkey’s match has all the makings of a Euros classic. Between the two sides, there is attacking talent galore, from the experience of Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes to the youthful exuberance of Arda Guler, Kenan Yildiz and Rafael Leao. If this match finishes without each goalkeeper being beaten, we will be rather shocked. But we also fancy Portugal to pick up three more points, mainly due to the fact their squad depth is right up there with the best in the tournament.
Georgia to beat Czech Republic and over 2.5 goals scored @ 7.50
A very bold shout some might say, but a bet that has piqued our interest nonetheless. Georgia were unlucky to be on the losing side against Turkey, displaying an attack-minded and fearless philosophy that nearly yielded a positive result. We expect them to take the game to the Czech Republic, who should be far less focused on defending than they were against Portugal – which is understandable. That means the potential for more goals in a tournament already loaded with them and Georgia have all the tools to emerge victorious from a potential cracker. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, it is your time to shine.
Belgium to beat Romania and both teams to score @ 3.02
Belgium were far from convincing defensively in their defeat to Slovakia, while Romania were ruthless in attack against Ukraine. Taking that into account, the prospect of Koen Casteels keeping a clean sheet seems a tad unlikely, although we do expect the Red Devils to eventually pick up the win. Another shock could be on the cards, though, given that Belgium are a wounded animal heading into the fixture. Romania to win and both teams to score is priced at 12.00.
