England are in need of a strong performance in their final group game against Slovenia.
The Three Lions were woeful for the most part in last week’s 1-1 draw with Denmark, a result which means top spot in the group is still not secured.
And in Slovenia, they take on a side who have caught the eye at Euro 2024, despite their relatively low FIFA world ranking.

Preview
England have struggled in all areas of the pitch at Euro 2024.
Aside from a positive opening half hour in the 1-0 win over Serbia, Gareth Southgate’s side have looked anything but a team tipped as one of the tournament favourites.
The Three Lions boss will likely ring the changes for the crucial match, with captain Harry Kane clearly struggling for fitness and the Trent Alexander-Arnold in midfield experiment yet to yield positive results.
In contrast, Slovenia have looked pretty strong in all departments. Goalkeeper Jan Oblak, one of the stars of the European game, has excelled between the posts, while young striker Benjamin Sesko has done his reputation no harm whatsoever.
Slovenia will be confident heading into the match and it is up to England to crush their hopes of reaching the last 16.
And only a convincing win for Southgate and his men will help silence some of the deserved criticism being directed at them.
Odds
England are, of course, the favourites to claim all three points here at 1.37. Slovenia are at 9.30, while the draw is priced at 4.70.
Betting Tips
Sesk-Goal
Aside from Marc Guehi, England’s defence has not looked at the required level so far and Sesko will be licking his lips. The RB Leipzig striker is yet to score at the tournament but did hit the post with a stunning long-range effort in the 1-1 draw with Denmark. Sesko to score anytime is 5.00.
Nervy Win
But even if Slovenia do score, we expect England to eventually claim a narrow(ish) victory, due to the fact they possess a plethora of world-class players – particularly in attack. The Three Lions to win and both teams to score is 3.50.
Super Saka
Bukayo Saka has arguably been England’s best attacker thus far (which is not saying much really) but is yet to score at the tournament. Like Sesko, Tuesday night could be the Arsenal star’s time to shine. Saka to score anytime is 3.20.
