Preview

Power Slap 8 looks set to be another high octane affair, with Da Crazy Hawaiian and Van Heerden’s contest the headline act.

Da Crazy Hawaiian will be looking for his 15th victory in Power Slap and if he wins by knockout, it will be his 13th triumph by that method – a hugely impressive record.

VanZant’s debut is, of course, a highly-anticipated match following her exploits in the UFC.

VanZant won eight of her 13 UFC bouts, suffering defeat on five occasions. She will be looking to achieve a better overall win-to-loss record in the Power Slap arena.

Elsewhere on the main Power Slap 8 fight card, Anthony Blackburn will attempt to dethrone Welterweight champion Emanuel Muniz in a fight which has all the ingredients to go down as an epic.

There is also Jackie Cataline vs Katharina Lehner, Wesley Drain vs Isaih Quinones, Austin Turpin vs Vernon Cathey, Kamil Marusarz vs Vasilii Kamotskii and Dayne Viernes vs Duane Crespo.

It is shaping up to be a blockbuster event in Sin City – and we cannot wait for the action to get started!

Power Slap Betting Tips

*Odds are subject to change

Da Crazy Hawaiian to beat Danie van Heerden @ 1.38

While we cannot rule out Van Heerden causing an upset in the championship bout, it is hard to look past the imperious Da Crazy Hawaiian – particularly as the champ will be striking first in the five-round bout. If this fight actually goes the full five rounds, it will be something of a surprise.

Anthony Blackburn to beat Emanuel Muniz @ 2.45

An upset on the cards? Do not bet against it. Defending Welterweight champion Muniz is understandably the favourite but Blackburn will be striking first in the other five-round match and that could play into his hands. Blackburn also produced a shock at Power Slap 7 when he defeated Chris Thomas by way of knockout, so he has all the tools to get his hands on the strap.

Paige VanZant to beat Christine Wolmarans @ 1.95

This is a contest where the two fighters can barely be separated in the odds market. VanZant will look to show off her mixed martial arts power in her debut bout and it will be interesting to see how the former UFC star gets on.
