Captained by former Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny, the African nation will feel confident of reaching the semi-finals and competing for those coveted Olympic medals.
Egypt have conceded only one goal at these Games, the aforementioned strike from Spain which was scored by Samu Omorodion, a level of defensive solidity which could steer them to victory.
But Paraguay, who are priced at 2.33, showed they can also score goals aplenty in their 4-2 win over Israel, so Egypt will have to be on top of their game to progress to the final four.
