Liverpool to beat Bournemouth @ 1.28

After a shock loss to Nottingham Forest last weekend, Liverpool and their fanbase are reeling, with some doubting Arne Slot’s proficiency as manager.

But knee-jerk reactions are not helpful at this stage of the season and their previous performances are more than enough to give Slot the benefit of the doubt.

After beating AC Milan 3-1 in the Champions League on Tuesday, we are backing the Reds to bounce back with another win against a strong Bournemouth side who lost 1-0 to Chelsea last time out.

Aston Villa to beat Wolves @ 1.59

Villa featured in what was probably the pick of last week’s fixtures, recovering from a 2-0 deficit against Everton to take three points.

And after claiming a comfortable 3-0 victory over Young Boys on Tuesday to kickstart their Champions League adventure, we fancy Unai Emery’s side to take the three points in this derby.

Home advantage, as well as the depth of the Villa squad, should be enough to see off Gary O’Neil’s side – who are yet to pick up a victory this season.

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United: Both teams to score @ 1.48

With both sides in patchy form, this game at Selhurst Park is a really tough one to call. Both have obvious quality in the squad and but have yet to find a spark on a consistent basis.

However, United’s 3-0 win over Southampton last Saturday and a 7-0 midweek thrashing of Barnsley in the Carabao Cup will be huge confidence boosts, particularly as Erik ten Hag’s side finally proved they can score multiple goals after netting only twice in the previous three outings.

Palace have looked good in flashes this term but have been unable to find the killer instinct to take them over the line. Despite bouncing back from 2-0 down, the 2-2 draw with Leicester was a huge disappointment and as such, they will be eager to make a statement on home soil.

Tottenham to beat Brentford @ 1.57

Still licking their wounds from what is always a humbling loss to North London rivals Arsenal, Spurs will be looking for an immediate reaction in another London derby this weekend.

Ange Postecoglou’s men have been inconsistent this season with just one win and two draws from four matches, while Brentford already have two wins under their belt.

The Bees played very well in the 2-1 loss to Manchester City last weekend, with Thomas Frank showered in praise by Pep Guardiola after the tight game. It will definitely be an interesting tie with some fascinating battles all over the pitch, a tie we think will eventually be won by Spurs.
