Arsenal vs Paris Saint-Germain: Both teams to score @ 1.68

Perhaps the headline act in this week’s festival of European football, a game which is a perfect encapsulation of why the Champions League is so popular. Two of Europe’s biggest teams will face off in North London and it will be a great litmus test for how the sides will rate their chances in the competition as a whole.

Hosts Arsenal have been hit by an injury crisis in recent weeks and may be without main man Martin Odegaard and new signing Riccardo Calafiori. But their strength in depth, especially in attacking areas, will always allow them to be competitive, even with Europe’s elite.

It is back to scheduled programming for PSG in Ligue 1, starting their campaign with a six-game unbeaten run and a spot at the top of the table. Despite losing Kylian Mbappe, their young squad has stepped up to the plate and look to be a more secure unit, with Bradley Barcola and Joao Neves looking to be the new leaders in the side.

We cannot wait for this one and think it will be goals galore when the Parisiens visit the English capital.

Bayern Munich to beat Aston Villa @ 1.76

Bayern are off to a flying start in the Bundesliga and will really fancy their chances of beating Aston Villa away from home.

The Bavarians have returned to dominant form under Vincent Kompany and have serious star power in talisman Harry Kane. And even if Villa can stop the striker, they have Jamal Musiala, Leroy Sane and Michael Olise to worry about.

But Unai Emery’s men are not to be underestimated. Striker Ollie Watkins looks to have his goalscoring boots firmly on, while Jhon Duran is also making waves in the Premier League. And midfielder Morgan Rogers looks to be the surprise package of the season, playing uninhibited football to the delight of Villa fans.

Villa look steady at the back too, with the reliable Emi Martinez holding firm behind Pau Torres and England international, Ezri Konsa. It is a fascinating matchup, but we are backing Bayern to edge this one. It will not be a walk in the park, though.

Atletico Madrid to beat Benfica @ 2.42

Atletico look to be building momentum as they aim for another successful La Liga season. A host of summer signings has breathed new life into their squad.

Conor Gallagher provides the industry that manager Diego Simeone values so highly, while Alexander Sorloth brings power, dynamism and focus up top. Not to mention Euro 2024 winner Robin Le Normand and one of the world’s best young talents, Julian Alvarez.

But Benfica are no slouches and will undoubtedly try to match the intensity of Atleti with their young and hungry squad. They will not be afraid of a battle and we are sure this will be a feisty affair.

But that being said, we do think that the Spaniards will outrun and outclass the Portuguese side to take the win.

RB Leipzig to draw with Juventus @ 3.40

A game that may be overlooked, but one we back to be an absolute stunner between two of Europe’s biggest sides.

Having lost star playmaker Dani Olmo to Barcelona in the summer, Leipzig are still making steady progress with an unbeaten start to the Bundesliga term. With Xavi Simons and Benjamin Sesko supported by Antonio Nusa and Lois Openda, their attack is certainly formidable.

Breakout star Castello Lukeba is also shining in defence alongside the highly sought-after Lutsharel Geertruida.

Juve are also unbeaten in Serie A under new manager Thiago Motta, with Dusan Vlahovic, Kenan Yildiz and Nicolas Gonzalez beginning to really gel as an attacking unit.

The two sides are evenly matched on paper and as such, we think they will play out a very entertaining draw when they face off.
