Fulham to beat Aston Villa @ 2.43

This Premier League encounter is primed to be a cracker and in truth, it is hard to pick a winner.

Villa have the stronger set of players on paper but Fulham have been hugely impressive so far in 2024-25, with Emile Smith Rowe and Alex Iwobi both shining bright.

Marco Silva’s side were excellent in their 3-2 defeat at Manchester City before the break and we fancy them to deliver another top display on home soil, only this time with three precious points for their efforts.

Leicester to beat Southampton @ 3.05

Leicester’s 1-0 win over Bournemouth last time out was the first victory claimed by one of the three promoted sides.

Steve Cooper’s men should be full of confidence as a result, particularly as they now come up against a Southampton outfit with just one point on the board.

The Saints will look to control possession at St Mary’s and take risks building from the back, risks which could leave space for Leicester talisman and Premier League legend Jamie Vardy to exploit on the break.

Sunderland to beat Hull @ 2.32

Table-toppers Sunderland will be eager to return to winning ways after a 2-2 draw with Leeds in their last match.

Hull should present a tough examination of the Black Cats’ promotion credentials, as they have won three of their previous five.

However, we can see Sunderland prevailing on their travels, especially if midfielder Jobe Bellingham is at the top of his game – as he has been for much of the season.

Norwich to beat Stoke @ 2.63

Norwich are eyeing promotion to the Premier League this season, which places an added level of significance on every match.

A trip to Stoke certainly will not be easy, although the Potters are not exactly in great form with just one win in five.

Norwich boast three victories in their previous four outings and with Championship top scorer Borja Sainz occupying the left flank, the Canaries can claim another crucial victory on their travels.

Birmingham to beat Lincoln @ 1.79

Big spenders Birmingham suffered a shock first defeat of the campaign against Charlton last time out.

As such, Chris Davies’ side will be desperate to remind the rest of League One they are the team to beat when they make the trip to Lincoln this weekend.

Lincoln are fourth in the table and unbeaten in five, although three of those matches ended in a draw. Over to you, Birmingham.

Mansfield to beat Stevenage @ 2.26

When Mansfield take to the field right now, it is hard to look past anything but a victory for the Stags.

Mansfield are on a five-game winning run in League One, which has seen them keep pace with Birmingham and Wrexham.

Stevenage are 14th in the table with four defeats to their name, a number we can see being increased to five on Saturday afternoon.
