Power Slap 9: Latest Odds & Betting Preview

We are now just days away from the historic Power Slap 9 event.

For the first time in the slap-fighting promotion’s history, a live show will be held outside of the United States of America.

Abu Dhabi are the hosts for this month’s event, with Power Slap 9 serving as a prelude to UFC 308 – which takes place on the weekend.

Power Slap 9 will be headlined by Da Crazy Hawaiian (real name Layne ‘Koa’ Viernes) as he bids to defend his Super Heavyweight world title against Vasilii ‘Dumpling’ Kamotskii.

Russian star Kamotskii is famously the man who convinced Dana White to begin his adventure in the slap fighting world.

So, with the action fast approaching, we take a look at the latest Power Slap odds on NetBet and if you are a new customer, do not forget to take advantage of our exciting welcome offer!

Power Slap 9 Betting Preview

So as you can see, pretty much every single match has a clear favourite.

Perhaps the biggest surprise of the lot is that Da Crazy Hawaiian is the underdog in the headline act against Kamotskii, despite the fact he will be slapping first in the five-round title bout and is a legend of the sport.

Yes, Kamostkii is a fearsome opponent with a string of devastating performances to his name, but the fact he is quite a clear favourite to win the Super Heavyweight strap on Thursday seems a tad overboard.

As such, Da Crazy Hawaiian’s odds look mighty tempting and they can be used to potentially boost your winnings from betting on other favourites at the event in Abu Dhabi.

Former UFC star VanZant is widely tipped to make it two wins from two in the Power Slap arena, while brilliant Middleweight champion Davis is looking to hold on to his belt and achieve his sixth win in the promotion against Quinones.

So, if you select Da Crazy Hawaiian, VanZant and Davis all to win in an accumulator bet, your odds will be boosted to 6.26.

However, Dodson and Quinones – VanZant and Davis’ opponents at Power Slap 9 – will be striking first, which makes selecting the favourites in a bet that little more risky.

If you want to opt for favourites who are also slapping first, then look no further than a three-way acca of Kaneoka, Van Heerden and Burnard all to win, with the combined odds standing at 3.54.
