Manchester United to beat Bodo/Glimt @ 1.23

It is an important time currently for the Red Devils, who are undergoing renovations overseen by new manager Ruben Amorim. He is tasked with turning the fortunes of one of the world’s biggest clubs and restoring them to their glory days, competing for titles and trophies.

A strong start to his tenure would be a successful run in the Europa League. United sit 15th currently, unbeaten but with only one win, so Old Trafford will be the perfect stage to creep towards automatic qualification with a second victory. Bodo/Glimt are not doing badly themselves, with two wins to their name and only three places from evading the play-offs. But with the new manager bounce, we are backing United.

Real Sociedad to beat Ajax @ 1.84

Two historic clubs that are undergoing very different Europa League campaigns, Ajax and Real Sociedad will match up with very different goals in mind. While not on top form in the Eredivisie, Ajax sit second in the Europa League and will have their sights firmly set on automatic qualification. Which is edging ever closer as we move into the second half of the league phase.

Sociedad, however, are actually outside even the play-offs, but it is doubtful with their talented squad that it will stay that way. And after the boost of their recent win over La Liga leaders Barcelona, we are backing them for a statement triumph in Europe.

Tottenham vs Roma: Both teams to score @ 1.51

With a slip up last time out in a 10-man showing against Galatasaray, Tottenham will be hoping to bounce back and bolster their chances of automatic qualification. This will be supported by their 4-0 win over reigning Premier League champions Manchester City last weekend. So their confidence will be at an all-time high and goals definitely look to be on the cards for their in-form strike force.

Roma are struggling on all fronts to try to turn their season in the direction they want it, so they will be extremely motivated against a Spurs side that have been far from invulnerable at the back. Coupled with their dynamic front line we definitely think it is likely they get on the scoresheet in London, even if they fail to come away with three points.

KAA Gent to beat FC Lugano @ 2.51

After a 6-0 hammering at the hand of rivals Anderlecht, Gent will be keen to bounce back with a strong European performance to get them moving again. They have had a dip in form recently, so a win could do much more for them in the long run than they may expect, making this European tie a crucial game.

Lugano are joint top and chasing the league title in Switzerland, which they have not won since 1949. They stand in good stead for a play-off place in the Conference League, maybe even creeping into automatic spots. But their priorities may lay elsewhere, giving Gent an edge we think they will use to put the Swiss team to the sword.

Chelsea to beat Heidenheim @ 1.38

Enzo Maresca seems to have the key to unlock the potential of this vastly talented Chelsea squad. Third in the Premier League and top of the Conference League table, their campaign is off to a flying start.

Heidenheim are languishing in 15th in the Bundesliga, but like their English opponents, are yet to pick up anything but a win in the Conference League. However, the Blues will undoubtedly be their toughest test yet.

And with so much firepower and excellent form, it is hard to see the West London side leaving Germany with anything but three points.
