We are approaching the end of the PDC World Darts Championship 2025.
It really has been an enthralling tournament thus far, with 180s and drama aplenty.
Only four players remain from the original roster of 96, with both semi-finals taking place this evening at what should be a packed Alexandra Palace.
So, read on as NetBet previews the two exciting matches, Chris Dobey vs Michael van Gerwen and Stephen Bunting vs Luke Littler.

PDC World Darts Championship 2025 Semi-Finals Preview
Yesterday’s quarter-final action was littered with quality, with the four best players emerging victorious.
In the afternoon session, Dobey defeated Gerwyn Price in an epic clash, before Van Gerwen claimed a 5-3 victory over Callan Rydz in a game which saw both players average over 103.
Van Gerwen vs Dobey is incredibly hard to call, despite the fact there are currently 12 places between them in the rankings.
Both players are capable of scoring 180s for fun, a skill which is key when it comes to set play.
The semi-finals are the best of six sets, a long format which usually plays into the hands of those with experience.
Three-time world champion Van Gerwen is used to this kind of pressure and that could prove decisive against Dobey, who is in the final four for the very first time.
In the other semi, teenage sensation Littler will be eyeing consecutive final appearances after beating close friend Nathan Aspinall 5-2 in the quarters.
But in his way stands Bunting, who is playing some of the best darts of his career and claimed a first major title by winning the Masters back in February.
However, while Bunting is a big scorer and capable of producing multi-dart finishes for fun, Littler is still the man to beat.
The 17-year-old is the biggest 180 scorer on the professional circuit and makes averaging over 100 – even in this long format – look like a walk in the park.
We look set for two absolute classics this evening in North London, so let’s take a look at the odds on NetBet…
PDC World Darts Championship 2025 Semi-Finals Odds

PDC World Darts Championship 2025 Semi-Finals Betting Tips
Chris Dobey vs Michael van Gerwen – Over 30.5 180s @ 3.90
As previously mentioned, these two are big 180 hitters when in full flow. There were 31 180s recorded during Van Gerwen’s win over Rydz and if this semi goes the distance, we could maybe see a total closer to 40!
Stephen Bunting vs Luke Littler – 9 Dart Finish in the Match @ 8.00
Okay, this is a very risky bet to make, given the rarity of a 9 Dart Finish. However, Littler has threatened perfection numerous times this tournament, missing D12 in his second-round win over Ryan Meikle. Tonight could be the night…
Luke Littler to hit over 17.5 180s @ 1.80
This feels like a much safer bet to make. Littler is a machine when it comes to hitting 180s, with 51 to his name already in the tournament, eight more than any other player.
