Liverpool to beat Nottingham Forest @ 1.65

In an unexpected turn of events, Forest find themselves 3rd in the Premier League, chasing down Liverpool in the hopes of a title challenge that would match that of Leicester’s famous 2016 triumph. They have beaten Liverpool once already this season, but will have to go some way to repeat those heroics. The Reds are going from strength to strength and have one hand on the trophy. So we are backing Arne Slot’s men to get their revenge at the City Ground this week.

Aston Villa to beat Everton @ 2.30

With a new manager in the form of the returning David Moyes, Everton will be hoping to bounce back after a poor start to the season under Sean Dyche. But a midweek clash with Aston Villa is not ideal conditions, even at Goodison Park, as Unai Emery’s side are back to form after a rough patch and are looking to make a charge up the table. With the uncertainty surrounding the Merseyside club, we think Villa will end the week with three more points.

Arsenal vs Tottenham: Draw @ 5.20

The highlight fixture of the midweek schedule is a fierce North London derby that never fails to deliver on the Premier League’s signature thrills. Arsenal will be reeling after a poor week, losing to Newcastle and Manchester United in cup competition. So they will want to come back stronger and appease the fanbase by defeating their bitter rivals. Spurs are unpredictable at the best of times and after beating Liverpool in the Carabao Cup, they then struggled away to non-league Tamworth at the weekend in the FA Cup. We think the two sides will play out an entertaining draw at the Emirates.

Fulham to beat West Ham @ 2.40

West Ham suffered a disappointing defeat to Aston Villa in the FA Cup, in what was new manager Graham Potter’s first game at the club. So he will be hoping to get his Premier League run started in a more successful manner. But in their way is a strong Fulham side. We back the Cottagers to wreak more havoc this week and pick up another three points as the Hammers adapt to their new leadership.
