This week sees the start of the 2025 edition of the Six Nations tournament.
It is one of the oldest sporting competitions in the world and always a standout event on the international rugby union calendar.
Ireland are in search of a sensational three-peat after triumphing in 2023 and 2024, the former of those successes a Grand Slam victory – which is when a team wins all of their matches.
Can anyone stop the Irish in 2025? Well, France and England each have the talent and depth to make a play for the prestigious trophy, while Scotland can never be ruled out of Six Nations contention.
Throughout the entirety of the tournament, NetBet will provide only the best rugby odds to assist with your online betting and increase the excitement levels!

Six Nations 2025 Preview
While England suffered losses to New Zealand, Australia and world champions South Africa in November’s Autumn Nations Series, all those defeats to top-quality opposition were by a narrow margin.
So confidence levels should be relatively high in Steve Borthwick’s camp, even with the unenviable task of playing Ireland away from home in their opener.
But while the Irish are to be feared, there is a degree of scepticism surrounding them ahead of the tournament, mainly due to the fact Simon Easterby will be in interim charge of the team.
Head coach Andy Farrell is preparing for his role as boss of the British and Irish Lions for the upcoming tour to Australia, so will miss the Six Nations.
It is perhaps why Ireland are not as widely tipped to emerge victorious like in previous years, that and France’s undeniable quality.
Spearheaded by one of the world’s finest rugby players in scrum-half Antoine Dupont, the French possess all the necessary tools to claim a 19th outright Six Nations win and a first since 2022. In fact, they are the pre-tournament favourites.
France also beat New Zealand 30-29 back in November, which is further evidence of their strength as a unit.
Of course, Scotland will be a tough opponent for anyone, although Wales and Italy are teams who will be of little concern to the rest.
The Welsh are on a record 12-game losing streak and it is hard to see how Warren Gatland’s side can turn things around at the Six Nations.
Stranger things have happened, though…
