Leicester vs Arsenal Preview

Injury-ravaged Arsenal will look to capitalise on a Liverpool slip up in Saturday’s early kick-off.

The Reds’ 2-2 draw at Everton on Wednesday evening means they are only seven points clear at the top with the same number of games played, prompting discussions that the title race is still alive.

But the Gunners need to keep winning and hope for more mistakes from their rivals in the coming weeks.

It all starts at the King Power and here is NetBet’s match preview, complete with football betting tips which you could perhaps use in our Bet Builder feature.

Leicester vs Arsenal Preview

In the build up to this match, Arsenal were hit with the news that top scorer Kai Havertz will be out for the remainder of the season with a serious hamstring injury picked up in the Dubai warm weather training camp.

The German joins Gabriel Jesus, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli on the treatment table, leaving Mikel Arteta rather threadbare in the forward department.

However, the North Londoners should still be confident of picking up a win against a Leicester side battling for Premier League survival.

Ruud van Nistelrooy’s team have lost four of the last five in the top flight and possess the second-worst goal difference in the division (-28).

The Foxes have conceded 53 league goals this season, so even Arsenal’s second-string attack should have no problem finding the back of the net.

But the game will perhaps be decided by whether the visitors – who have won the last two in the league and lost only twice all season – can keep a clean sheet themselves.

The reverse fixture finished 4-2 in Arsenal’s favour after they surrendered a two-goal lead and it is well-documented that they have not quite been the same force defensively this term.

And with Jamie Vardy set to return to the Leicester XI after missing the FA Cup defeat at Manchester United, Arteta has cause for concern.

Vardy has scored 11 goals in 17 Premier League appearances against the Gunners, although the last of them came back in October 2020.

Leicester vs Arsenal Odds

*All odds are subject to change

Arsenal are huge favourites to claim the win at 1.28. Leicester are priced at 9.60 to pull off what would be their biggest win of the season so far, while the draw is 5.50.

Leicester vs Arsenal Betting Tips

Ethan Nwaneri to score anytime @ 2.48

Arsenal’s injury crisis up top means teenage sensation Nwaneri is all set to be a key figure in the coming weeks. He already has three Premier League goals in 2024-25 – and we are backing him to increase his tally!

Jamie Vardy to score anytime @ 4.60

As previously mentioned, Vardy enjoys playing against Arsenal. And with the Gunners keeping only two clean sheets in the last 11 across all competitions, we can see the Foxes getting on the scoresheet through their talisman.

Arsenal to win & over 3.5 goals in the game @ 2.83

But in the end, Arsenal should have more than enough quality to claim the win by at least two goals. Arteta’s side to win 3-1 is priced at 11.00.
