Tottenham vs Manchester United Preview
With 24 games played each, these two giants of English football are still in the bottom half of the table.
Spurs are 14th on 27 points, while United occupy only the spot above on 29. These two sides have lost a combined total of 24 top-flight matches this season, which is quite remarkable when you think about it.
Ange Postecoglou’s outfit are in worse form, though. A 2-0 victory at Brentford brought an end to a four-match losing streak in the league, but this was followed by exits in the Carabao Cup semi-finals to Liverpool and FA Cup Fourth Round vs Aston Villa.
Injuries have certainly not helped, but results in the white half of North London need to change – and fast!
United are yet to experience a proper new manager bounce under Ruben Amorim, but despite some shaky performances, they have won six of the last eight across all competitions.
And with the manager’s wing-back system and their undeniable pace in attack, the Red Devils can expose Spurs’ makeshift defence, which still insists on playing a high line.
However, the hosts have fond memories of this fixture, having won 3-0 at Old Trafford earlier in the season.
A repeat of that scoreline would relieve some of the pressure on Postecoglou’s shoulders.

Tottenham vs Manchester United Betting Tips
Mathys Tel to score anytime @ 3.09
January signing Tel opened his account for Spurs in the 2-1 defeat at Villa in the FA Cup. With limited options available, the Frenchman should get the nod to start as a No9 against United, a team he was linked with during the winter transfer window. Written in the stars, right?
Over 3.5 goals in the match @ 2.10
With both these sides struggling to put in quality defensive displays, this could be a goal-fest. When the two met in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the match finished 4-3 to the hosts. More of the same please!
Tottenham to win and both teams to score @ 3.55
United have actually been better away from home of late, famously claiming a win at Manchester City and drawing 2-2 at Anfield. However, we think a well-rested Spurs can turn the screw on their own patch and inflict more misery on Amorim.
