UFC Vegas 104 Betting Preview: Latest Odds & Best Bets

UFC Vegas 104 takes place this weekend as the promotion looks to keep up the momentum from UFC 313 with a smaller-scale showcase.

It’s a much less hyped up affair this weekend, but there are still major wins to be had for bettors. Marvin Vettori, the former middleweight title contender, returns after two years out of action to rematch the last man he defeated, Roman Dolidze.

After that March 2023 defeat to Vettori, Dolidze lost again to Nassourdine Imavov. But since then, he has turned things around with wins over first Anthony Smith and then Kevin Holland, the latter of which came as a result of a rib injury.

Elsewhere on the card, there are more fascinating matchups, including the return of 2023’s The Ultimate Fighter Kurt Holobaugh against controversial veteran Alexander Hernandez. Ryan Spann also returns at heavyweight against the surging Waldo Cortes-Acosta.

In the bantamweight division, the impressive comeback of Da’Mon Blackshear continues against Cody Gibson. It should be an intriguing contest and has all the makings of ‘fight of the night’ for viewers of this free show.

UFC Vegas 104 Betting Preview and Best Bets

We’ll be frank here, there aren’t any markets that are going to make you rich on a massive outside bet on these cards. It’s generally a fairly safe bet to pick the red corner in any one of these Apex cards, but there are still bets to be made.

First thing’s first, Vettori is fighting, which means you absolutely must bet the over. He’s been involved in two finishes altogether in his entire UFC career, and we’ve already seen him go the distance with Dolidze, whose sole finish since 2022 was a freak injury.

It’s not going to make you rich, but that over 4.5 rounds bet at 1.40 is as nailed-on a recommendation as we can provide you with.

But you want an outside bet? Diyar Nurgozhay is brand new to the promotion and has a nice shiny 10-0 record. As far as we’re concerned, that’s primed for a fraud check by Brendson Ribeiro, whose 16-7 record includes a UFC win and three Octagon appearances.

A Ribeiro win is priced at 3.72, and why not pair it with another potential ‘upset’? Because undefeated Josia Musasa takes on Carlos Vera. Sure, the 37-year-old has yet to win in the UFC or even The Ultimate Fighter, but he’s been around and Musasa is absolutely unproven.

Vera is a monstrous 6.05 underdog, and if you couple that with Ribeiro, you get it up to a massive 22.51. That’s a massive potential earning from just two results that honestly don’t seem all that unlikely.
