Premier League Darts 2025: Night 7 Preview
Night 7 Quarter-Finals:
Chris Dobey vs Stephen Bunting
Luke Humphries vs Michael van Gerwen
Luke Littler vs Nathan Aspinall
Gerwyn Price vs Rob Cross
So far in this year’s edition of the Premier League, three players have racked up two night wins.
Humphries and Littler were the early pace-setters, but Price’s victory in Nottingham last week – where he beat Littler 6-3 in the final – has seen him move to four points off top spot.
Littler leads the way on 16 points, with Humphries on 15 and Price on 12. Even at this early stage, the trio are almost guaranteed a spot in the play-offs, barring a dramatic collapse.
Van Gerwen occupies the final spot in the top four, although the three-time world champion and seven-time Premier League winner is yet to reach a final this season, a poor record for someone of his stature.
The Dutchman’s failure to deliver after the quarter-final stage means Cross and Aspinall will have hopes of catching and usurping him in the coming weeks.
Both Cross and Aspinall sit on eight points, just two behind Van Gerwen and with a healthy five-point buffer to Dobey in seventh.
Premier League Darts 2025: Night 7 Betting Tips
*All odds are subject to change
Chris Dobey to beat Stephen Bunting @ 1.93
A battle between the two players at the bottom. Bunting is yet to win a match this year and while he is throwing well, Dobey has the tools to inflict more misery on ‘The Bullet’ in Nottingham.
Luke Humphries vs Michael van Gerwen – Over 9.5 legs @ 1.95
Van Gerwen has impressed in quarter-final matches this year, only to fall away in the semis. So we can see this being a close-fought contest against the World No1 in Humphries, perhaps going to a last-leg decider!
Luke Littler vs Nathan Aspinall – Over 7.5 180s @ 2.17
Unsurprisingly, Littler is a HUGE favourite to beat his mate Aspinall at odds of 1.17. So if you want to find some value in the odds, look at the 180s market. Littler is top by a mile for 180s hit this year with a whopping 70 in 14 matches, while Aspinall is third in the standings with 34 in 11 contests.
Gerwyn Price to beat Rob Cross @ 1.73
Fresh from a night win and with the Welsh crowd cheering him on? Yeah, it could be another successful evening of work for a resurgent Price! Cross is never easy to beat in such a short format, but Price looks to be rediscovering the competitive edge which saw him crowned world champion in 2021.
