Premier League Darts 2025: Night 8 Betting Tips

Premier League of Darts

The Premier League of Darts 2025 enters its eighth stage and so far, it has all been about reigning champion Luke Littler.

Another nightly win in Cardiff last week has seen the teenage superstar open up a six-point lead at the top of the table.

Can anyone stop The Nuke in Newcastle tomorrow evening? It may take something special, but anything is possible in this fantastic tournament contested between the world’s best!

Premier League Darts 2025: Night 8 Preview

Night 8 Quarter-Finals:

Luke Littler vs Stephen Bunting

Gerwyn Price vs Rob Cross

Luke Humphries vs Chris Dobey

Michael van Gerwen vs Nathan Aspinall

Littler’s victory over Van Gerwen in last week’s final included a 9 Dart Finish, the third of this campaign already.

The standard in the Premier League is perhaps higher than ever and the battle for a place in the Top 4 is heating up.

Humphries (15 points), Van Gerwen (13 points) and Price (12 points) currently occupy the spots behind runaway leader Littler (21 points).

But Cross (10 points) and Aspinall (8 points) will be quietly confident of catching those above them in the coming weeks.

However, Newcastle is almost a do-or-die night for Bunting, who is yet to get off the mark in the Premier League.

Local lad Dobey is also in a bit of peril on 5 points, so he will be hoping that the backing of a home crowd can help ignite his campaign.

Premier League Darts 2025: Night 8 Betting Tips

*All odds are subject to change

Luke Littler vs Stephen Bunting: Under 8.5 legs @ 2.10

The last thing a struggling Bunting would want is a match against the in-form Littler. The Nuke rarely dips below a 100 average and it would be anything but a shock to see him emerge with a 6-1 or 6-2 victory.

Gerwyn Price vs Rob Cross: Over 5.5 180s @ 2.00

While Littler is the premier 180 hitter, all eight players are capable of recording maximums for fun. Price vs Cross has the potential to go to a last-leg decider and with more legs played comes the increased opportunity for the T20 bed to be peppered.

Luke Humphries vs Chris Dobey: Over 9.5 legs 2.06

Humphries is, of course, the favourite to win here. But with a buoyant Newcastle crowd chanting his name, Dobey can make this a very close contest. A quarter-final victory for Hollywood is priced at 2.87.

Nathan Aspinall to beat Michael van Gerwen @ 2.55

Aspinall enters this match on the back of winning the European Darts Trophy. He has shown glimpses of quality in the Premier League and on his day, can beat anyone. Van Gerwen is not quite the force he once was, so we are backing the underdog!
