Power Slap has not been around for long, but already some fighters have established themselves as icons of the sport.
From its humble beginnings in 2022 to the world-famous promotion we see before us today, Power Slap has provided a stage for some athletes to grab worldwide attention.
With that in mind, NetBet has decided to take a look at five of the most legendary figures to have graced the hostile arena.
And do not forget, Power Slap 10 will take place later this week in Las Vegas, with title fights aplenty!

Let’s begin looking at those icons…
Layne ‘Koa’ Viernes
Nicknamed ‘Da Crazy Hawaiian’, perhaps no one has been quite as dominant in Power Slap as the legendary Viernes.
Currently the Super Heavyweight champion, a belt he has held since October 2023, the man is a slap-fighting icon who delivers devastating blows for fun.
Viernes’ victory over Vasilii Kamotskii at Power Slap 9 was his 14th triumph overall in the promotion and his second successful title defence.
Will anyone be able to dethrone him in the near future?
Damien Dibbell
When discussing dominant champions, Dibbell simply has to feature in the conversation.
At the age of just 22, he is already a Power Slap icon and has the potential to get even better in the future.
Dibbell has five Power Slap wins to his name and is the current Heavyweight king, defending the belt on two occasions.
Can he make it a third successful defence against Dorian Perez at Power Slap 10?
Ron Bata
Another man who has made a habit of winning in Power Slap.
Like Viernes, the iconic figure that is Bata has claimed 14 wins and is the reigning Light Heavyweight champion.
Yes, he has suffered five defeats during his time in Power Slap, but there is no denying his importance to the promotion’s rapid growth.
Wolverine has also delivered five knockouts – and we cannot wait to see him back in action!
John Davis
The first of our icons who is not a current champion.
However, Davis still undoubtedly possesses icon status in the exciting world of Power Slap regardless of that fact.
He was the Middleweight king for close to two years, successfully defending the belt and Power Slap 2 and Power Slap 5.
Davis surrendered the strap at Power Slap 9 in a defeat to Isiah Quinones, but we reckon he will be back with a vengeance in the near future!
Anthony Blackburn
And so we end with the current top dog in the Welterweight division.
The hugely entertaining Blackburn is yet to lose in the Power Slap arena, tallying four wins and a draw in his five contests.
He claimed the Welterweight belt with an epic success over Emanuel Muniz at Power Slap 8.
The two will meet again in a rematch at Power Slap 10 and if Blackburn emerges victorious, his legendary status will never be questioned again. To be honest, it should not be anyway!
